| Customer Reviews: excellent March 16, 2010 book worm (new york ny usa) just what i was looking for item arrive ontime just to caught the lost snow of 2010 in westchester work great thank amazon
Didn't survive the winter December 15, 2009 P. E. Chaintreuil (Lee Center, NY United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The squeegee started pulling out of the head after a month of use. Tried placing it back in, but it would just keep coming out. So I just stuck to the brush.
The brush made the first season of use, but died today, the 3rd day I've used it this winter. The whole head broke apart on some heavy snow.
While it stayed whole, it was nice. The length and extension feature were nice.
The pivot on the head is pretty much useless except for storage though.
I preferred a stand-alone hand scraper, as it's hard to get a good angle on with the included one given all the weight on the opposite end.
I'm off to try to find a higher-quality, sturdier broom.
Telescoping Broom October 28, 2009 JAHough (Dayton, OH USA) If you live anywhere it snows and don't own a garage, this is a must have. Collapsable and easy to use. It is also vey sturdy and strong.
A great winter tool November 4, 2008 Ty M. Trippany (St.Albans, Vermont) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
PROS: Durable steel handle that extends to 52", Rubber squeegee is perfect for heavy snow that the bristles aren't strong enough for, Under $10
CONS: Fully closed its 3 feet in length
MY TAKE: I haven't used it through a full winter yet, but so far this is the best Ice/Snow scraper I have used
Being from Vermont I am no stranger to frigid weather that can take a toll on cars. I have gone through dozens of ice/snow scarpers that either just didn't work from the get go or broke half way through the winter season. While I haven't used this particular one for a full season yet I have a good feeling about it. Its durable steel telescoping handle works like a charm when its fully extended to its max of 52". The rubber squeegee is a brilliant idea for that hard to push heavy and wet snow that can be a bit stubborn. However it is rather long in its shortest form at 3 feet. If it does end up breaking it was less then $20 so I'm not losing a whole lot. Will update after a full winter season.
